I recently met this amazing photographer/videographer named Courtney while doing hair and makeup for a wedding. Courtney and I clicked instantly with our personalities. While she was photographing and I was beautifying the bridal party, she mentioned that she would love for me to go to Disney with her for a bridal shoot and that instantly got my attention. So I said, “backup, did you say Disney”? Yes, she said Disney! She had a bride who was traveling to Disney to take her bridal portraits at the Grand Floridian Hotel. I told her I would make it happen if the bride wanted me. Long story short the bride wanted me to come do her hair and makeup for her portraits. I was so excited at this super fun opportunity.
My mom and I arrived in Orlando on Wednesday evening and stopped by Downtown Disney to hang out for a while. We shopped and ate dinner and enjoyed the beautiful Christmas lights for a few hours before we met up with the family of the bride. They provided us a wonderful place to stay with them. When we met up, I was introduced to the family and we immediately starting coming up with a game plan for the next morning. We had to be at the Grand Floridian Hotel the next morning before sunrise, so it was going to be a very early morning but when you see these amazing photos you’ll see that it was worth it. We walked all over that hotel searching for the perfect spots for our 6 hour photo shoot. It was such a fun experience.
